O Aeródromo Municipal de Cascais, em Tires, está localizado na costa atlântica de Lisboa — uma região de incomparável beleza natural, reconhecida pelas suas atrações turísticas e por acolher diversos eventos de relevo internacional.
Preparado para receber tráfego aéreo internacional e comunitário, o Aeródromo de Cascais afirma-se como uma alternativa estratégica ao Aeroporto de Lisboa, com o objetivo de concentrar 100% dos voos executivos com destino à capital portuguesa.
Com esse propósito, foi promovida a construção de uma nova aerogare, equipada com todas as valências técnicas, de segurança e conforto exigidas pela aviação executiva moderna.
O edifício combina uma estrutura mista de betão armado e metálica, cuja concretização contou com a colaboração da STEELFER, responsável pela execução das armaduras em betão armado, e da FAUSTINO S FERREIRA, responsável pela fabricação e montagem da estrutura metálica. Ambas as empresas recorreram à tecnologia BIM para o desenvolvimento e coordenação dos seus trabalhos.
As duas estruturas, de elevado grau de exigência técnica, fundem-se de forma harmoniosa, resultando numa integração arquitetónica e estrutural exemplar, refletindo a excelência da engenharia e da construção nacional.
Este projeto contou com a TPF Consultores como entidade responsável pela execução de Estudo Prévio, Anteprojeto para Licenciamento, Projeto de Execução e Assistência Técnica à Construção.
The Cascais Municipal Aerodrome, located in Tires on the Atlantic coast near Lisbon, lies in a region of unparalleled natural beauty, renowned for its tourist appeal and as a venue for a variety of internationally significant events.
Designed to accommodate both international and intra-European air traffic, Cascais Aerodrome positions itself as a strategic alternative to Lisbon Airport, with the goal of concentrating 100% of executive aviation flights destined for the Portuguese capital.
With this in mind, the construction of a new terminal building was promoted, equipped with all the technical, safety, and comfort features required by modern executive aviation.
The building features a hybrid structure combining reinforced concrete and structural steel. The construction was carried out with the collaboration of STEELFER, responsible for the execution of the reinforced concrete reinforcements, and FAUSTINO S FERREIRA, responsible for the fabrication and assembly of the steel structure. Both companies employed BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology for the development and coordination of their respective scopes of work.
These two highly demanding structural systems are seamlessly integrated, resulting in exemplary architectural and structural cohesion — a reflection of the excellence of Portuguese engineering and construction.
The project was led by TPF Consultores, who were responsible for the development of the Preliminary Study, Licensing Design, Detailed Design, and Technical Support during the Construction phase.
