Deze uitbreiding van een bestaande sporthal in Alkmaar is uitgebreid met nieuwe faciliteiten, waarbij BIM een doorslaggevende factor bleek. De gebruikte aspectmodellen van onder meer staal, beton, glas en de installaties zijn afkomstig uit diverse software. De afstemming, samenwerking en uitwerking maken dit een prachtig voorbeeld van een BIM.
Projectomschrijving:
“de Meent” was an existing ice skate building, with a (small) sports complex built next to it. “de Meent 2.0” was designed so that the new sports complex became integrated with the existing ice skate hall, and also the existing fitness center. The new sports complex was also much bigger, featuring olympic size playing fields with a total of 3700m2 just for sports alone.
