This new sports complex contains a parking garage, 2 sport floors with 2 seperation walls each, a gym hall, 14 dressings rooms and 2 “catering” rooms on the first and second floor. All sports floors are designed with the Olympic standards as a basis. Creating an underground parking garage was skipped due too the high costs, therefor the parking garage was built at ground level, this means that all public rooms are at the second floor, meaning they all have great views over the sports fields. The (prefab concrete) stairs needed to get everyone to the second floor has a double function, it’s the way up but also a meeting place because of the ‘lazy’ steps.
