De werkzaamheden van Seldenthuis Engineering B.V.

Voor de bouw van de 215 meter hoge Zalmhaventoren wordt gebruik gemaakt van een hijsloods. De hijsloods zal vanaf de grond per verdieping meebewegen om in een geconditioneerde omgeving te kunnen bouwen en de prefab betonelementen en andere bouwmaterialen omhoog te hijsen. Daarnaast brengen wij de diverse constructieve onderdelen en de raakvlakken met het gebouw in kaart, zodat deze uitgewerkt kunnen worden tot een goed ontwerp. Uiteindelijk genereert Seldenthuis Engineering B.V. een compleet productiedossier met digitale bestanden waaruit de staalconstructie geproduceerd kan worden.

De grootste uitdaging tijdens dit proces is de dynamische constructie waarin je met verschillende situaties rekening moet houden en middels BIM hebben wij goed kunnen communiceren, zodat alle raakvlakken van de vaste toren en de bewegende hijsloods juist op elkaar zijn afgestemd.

The activities of Seldenthuis Engineering B.V.

A lifting shed is used for the construction of the 215-meter-high Zalmhaventoren. The lifting shed will move from floor to floor in order to build in a conditioned environment and to lift up the prefab concrete elements and other building materials. In addition, we map the various structural components and the interfaces with the building, so that they can be worked out into a good design. Ultimately, Seldenthuis Engineering B.V. generates a complete drawing package and digital files from which the steel structure can be produced.

Challenges during the elaboration is the dynamic construction in which you have to take different situations into account and through BIM we have been able to communicate in a very good way, so that all interfaces of the fixed tower and the moving lifting shed are aligned with each other.
