In het centrum van Breda verrijst op dit moment het complex The Marker. Het betreft 170 apartementen en ca 800m2 aan commerciële ruimte. De appartementen zijn verdeeld over vier blokken, waarbij de hoogste toren ongeveer 32 meter hoog is. Het complex is volledig onderkelderd met een totaal oppervlak van 5500m2. In het ontwerp is rekening gehouden met de aanleg van de toekomstige singel die straks langs The Marker loopt.

Door de complexe vormen, de open parkeerkelder was het gebruik van BIM ideaal om de complexe knopen in kaart te brengen. De ontwerp partners werkten ook in BIM wat er toe geleid heeft dat eventuele clashes op voorhand zijn getackled.

In the center of Breda, the complex known as The Marker is currently under construction. It consists of 170 apartments and approximately 800m2 of commercial space. The apartments are spread across four blocks, with the tallest tower reaching about 32 meters high. The complex is completely underground with a total area of 5500m2. The design takes into account the construction of the future canal that will run alongside The Marker.

Due to the complex shapes and the open parking basement, the use of BIM (Building Information Modeling) was ideal for mapping out the complex intersections. The design partners also worked in BIM, which led to tackling any potential clashes in advance.
