De aanbruggen en het val zijn inclusief het brugdek getekend in TS2016i, de bewegende delen heeft Hillebrand zelf verder in detail uitgewerkt.
Minimalistische fiets- en voetgangersbrug over Zijkanaal I
Voor de Gemeente Amsterdam heeft Hillebrand een fiets- en voetgangersbrug over het Zijkanaal I gerealiseerd. Deze basculebrug werd gebouwd om de bereikbaarheid van Amsterdam Noord per fiets te verbeteren.
Het minimalistische ontwerp van de brug heeft als uitgangspunt het zicht over het kanaal en dit zorgt voor een elegante en slanke uitstraling. Het lijkt alsof de brug zweeft over het water. De technische voorzieningen zoals slagbomen, verlichting en camera’s zijn geïntegreerd in het ontwerp. De cilinders en het contragewicht bevinden zich onder het brugdek, waardoor de slankheid van de brug behouden blijft.
De coating van de brug zorgt ervoor dat de strakke belijning wordt geaccentueerd. Het dek en de leuning hebben een lichte kleur, terwijl de ondersteunende constructie donker is en hierdoor wegvalt in het water.
Minimalistic bicycle and pedestrian bridge across Zijkanaal I
Hillebrand has realized a bicycle and pedestrian bridge across the Zijkanaal I for the City of Amsterdam. This bascule bridge was built to improve the accessibility of Amsterdam Noord by bicycle.
The minimalist design of the bridge is based on the view over the canal and this provides an elegant and slender appearance. It seems as if the bridge is floating over the water. The technical facilities such as barriers, lighting and cameras are integrated in the design. The cylinders and the counterweight are located under the bridge deck, so that the slenderness of the bridge is retained.
The coating of the bridge ensures that the narrow lines are accentuated. The deck and the handrail have a light color, while the supporting construction is dark and therefore merges with the water.
