Projekt “East” to kompleks czterech budynków mieszkalnych z garażem podziemnym.

The East project is a complex of four residential buildings with an underground garage. The building area is around 3300 square meters. Prefabricated reinforced concrete elements have been designed above monolithic foundations. The structure consists of single-layer internal walls, two and three-layer external walls, columns with variable cross-sections, simple and prestressed slabs, prestressed hollow core slabs and prestressed beams. The project was created in cooperation between CES Poland and Swedish Strangbetong, which are part of the Consolis group.

Geometry of the object chosen by the investor forced the need to use many complicated shapes of elements, and consequently the usage of non-standard solutions to connect them, for example the support of a steel structure that holds the glazing elements, connection of balcony panels with the rest of the structure and support of prestressed hollow core slabs.

It would not be easy to make many types of connections without the possibility of 3D modeling and model sharing mode. Thanks to this technology creating revisions and exchanging information with other business units was fast and easy. Collision possibility between reinforcement and other accessories in the elements has been reduced to a minimum. Such element like columns with variable cross-sections would be very hard to project without 3D visualization. Additionally, due to the high similarity and repetition of the elements the clone drawing function saved a lot of work time.
