Aan de voet van de Duitse Alpen huist de Leitzachmühle. Al meer dan 750 jaar wordt er op deze plek, aan de rivier de Leitzach, graan verwerkt. Letterlijk aan de keukentafel smeedde TSC de plannen met de eigenaar, die wilde investeren om de toekomst van het familiebedrijf zeker te stellen. TSC ontwierp, berekende en bouwde de vierkante silo’s met dakopbouw, de machinetoren, de inname- en beladingshal en de volledige bekleding van dit alles.

Het project voor Leitzachmühle is een indrukwekkend voorbeeld van vakmanschap in de silo-industrie. De Leitzachmühle is een hoogwaardige opslagfaciliteit rijker, voor graan en andere agro-grondstoffen, ontworpen en gebouwd met oog voor zowel functionaliteit als esthetiek. Het resultaat is een silogebouw die niet alleen functioneel en betrouwbaar is, maar ook een visueel indrukwekkend ontwerp heeft. De esthetische aspecten van de ‘oorspronkelijke’ Mühle zijn zorgvuldig geïntegreerd in het constructieve ontwerp, wat heeft geresulteerd in een harmonieus geheel dat opvalt in het landschap.

De constructieve details van dit project zijn zorgvuldig gepland en uitgevoerd, waardoor een solide en duurzame silo-installatie is gerealiseerd. De gebruikte materialen voldoen aan de Duitse DIN EN norm, een van de strengste normen op het gebied van veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid.

Dankzij Tekla Structures was het mogelijk om alle complexe aansluitingen en verbindingen tussen de verschillende componenten naadloos te integreren. Denk aan het verbinden van de conveyors met de silo’s, zowel op de silo als onder de trechters, het op de juiste plaats ondersteunen van de puntlasten van machines op de vloeren, en de verbindingen met de bestaande fabriek. Kortom, Tekla heeft een cruciale rol gespeeld bij het ontwerp en de realisatie van Leitzachmühle, omdat het een efficiënte en nauwkeurig aangesloten constructie mogelijk maakte.

Al met al is het project Leitzachmühle een toonbeeld van alle in-house expertise van TSC Silos. Het gebruik van de Tekla heeft bijgedragen aan het succes van het project door het mogelijk te maken alle aansluitingen naadloos te realiseren.

At the foot of the German Alps lies the Leitzachmühle. For over 750 years, grain has been processed at this location, along the Leitzach River. TSC forged plans with the owner at the kitchen table, who wanted to invest in securing the future of the family business. TSC designed, calculated, and constructed the square silos with roof structures, the machine tower, the intake and loading hall, and the complete cladding of it all.

The project for Leitzachmühle is an impressive example of craftsmanship in the silo industry. Leitzachmühle is now home to a high-quality storage facility for grain and other agricultural raw materials, designed and built with both functionality and aesthetics in mind. The result is a silo building that is not only functional and reliable but also boasts an visually impressive design. The aesthetic aspects of the “original” Mühle have been carefully integrated into the structural design, resulting in a harmonious whole that stands out in the landscape.

The structural details of this project were meticulously planned and executed, resulting in a solid and sustainable silo installation. The materials used meet the German DIN EN standard, one of the strictest standards in terms of safety and reliability.

Thanks to the Tekla Structures software, it was possible to seamlessly integrate all complex connections and joints between the different components. For example connecting the conveyors with the silo, both on top of the silos as on the hoppers, absorbing the point loads of the machines at right positions, and the connections with the existing mill. Tekla played a crucial role in the design and realization of Leitzachmühle, as it enabled an efficient and accurately connected structure.

All in all, the Leitzachmühle project exemplifies all of TSC Silos’ in-house expertise. The use of Tekla has contributed to the project’s success by allowing for seamless realization of all connections.
