The task aims at expansion of wood-base MDF plant, located in the town of Paragominas in Brazil. The Floraplac company investing in development of modern production line, will increase its production capacity three times to reach 1300 m3 of MDF boards per day.
The scope of the project which Kozlowski-Projekt engineering office joined, involve steel supporting structures for elements of the production line. Total weight of designed objects, which constitutes with devices a part of processing line is 1300 tons. The scope of work includes static calculations, workshop and assembly documentation.
Diversity of subsequent manufacturing stages was the main determining factor for using an individual approach to each object, understanding its functions and requirements of given processes.
The said MDF plant is not the first such an extensive project in the Kozłowski-Projekt engineering office portfolio. However, the main aspect making this task so unique is the project delivered before deadline while still maintaining proper quality.
The main challenge was to coordinate models in three different areas: technology (PDMS, Inventor), workshop (Tekla) and calculation model of structure (Dlubal RStab)
