Project Blauwpoorte – Blok 7 te Izegem
Prefab tot in de puntjes, in nauwe samenwerking met Urbes Projects en Kolon.
Voor het bouwproject Blauwpoorte in Izegem stond Kreantis bv in voor de volledige tekenwerk van Blok 7 (kasteeltoren 2) – een gemengd gebouw van 15 bouwlagen, bestaande uit 49 appartementen, 1 rooftop wellness en 3 handelspanden. De ruwbouw boven is gepland tegen eind 2025, de oplevering voorzien in 2027.
Dit complexe gebouw, met een sterke focus op prefabbeton en staal, vroeg om een doorgedreven technische aanpak, met oog voor uitvoering én afstemming.
Kreantis werkte het volledige uitvoeringsmodel uit in Tekla Structures, inclusief:
• Prefabbetonwanden (inclusief zichtwanden), balken, terrassen en luifels (vorm, aansluitingen, wapening, instortstukken)
• Productietekeningen (bekisting, wapening, buigstaat) tot en met verdieping +12 (+13 t.e.m. +14 zijn nog in uitwerking)
• Staalprofielen en aansluitdetails + plannen
• Overzichtsplannen per verdieping
• Wachterplannen per verdieping
Voorts zijn onze centrale bedrijfsinstellingen (TS-map) opgeslagen op Trimble Connect en worden via de Trimble Connect Sync Tool automatisch gesynchroniseerd naar alle modelleurs. Hierdoor wordt gegarandeerd dat iedereen steeds werkt met de meest actuele en uniforme instellingen.
De opdrachtgever Urbes Projects zorgde voor een duidelijke visie en een constructieve samenwerking. De nauwe afstemming met hun projectleider verliep bijzonder vlot, wat resulteerde in korte communicatielijnen en snelle besluitvorming.
De productie van de prefab elementen gebeurt in-house bij Kolon, wat een grote meerwaarde betekende in het verloop van het project. Dankzij regelmatige terugkoppeling vanuit het atelier en transparante communicatie kregen we als team een duidelijk inzicht in de aanpak en verwachtingen van de productie. Eventuele onduidelijkheden konden snel worden opgelost, wat de kwaliteit en uitvoerbaarheid van het eindresultaat aanzienlijk verhoogde.
Daarnaast werden we frequent op de hoogte gehouden van de voortgang – iets wat in de sector helaas geen evidentie is, maar hier het verschil maakte in het succesvol sturen en bijsturen van het ontwerp en tekenwerk.
Met Blauwpoorte – Blok 7 bevestigt Kreantis zijn rol als technisch partner in het uitwerken van grootschalige prefab projecten: efficiënt, nauwkeurig en met oog voor samenwerking in elke fase van het proces.

Prefab to perfection, in close collaboration with Urbes Projects and Kolon
For the Blauwpoorte construction project in Izegem, Kreantis bv was responsible for all the drafting work for Block 7 (Castle Tower 2) – a mixed-use building with 15 floors, consisting of 49 apartments, a rooftop wellness area, and 3 commercial units. The superstructure is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, with project delivery expected in 2027.
This complex building, with a strong focus on precast concrete and steel, required an advanced technical approach, with attention to both execution and coordination.
Kreantis developed the complete execution model in Tekla Structures, including:
• Precast concrete walls (including exposed concrete), beams, terraces, and canopies (form, connections, reinforcement, embedded parts)
• Production drawings (formwork, reinforcement, bending schedules) up to and including level +12 (+13 to +14 are still in progress)
• Steel profiles and connection details + plans
• Floor-by-floor overview plans
• Insert plans per floor
Furthermore, our central company settings (TS folder) are stored on Trimble Connect and automatically synchronized to all modelers via the Trimble Connect Sync Tool. This ensures that everyone consistently works with the most up-to-date and uniform settings.
The client, Urbes Projects, provided a clear vision and fostered a constructive collaboration. The close coordination with their project manager went exceptionally smoothly, resulting in short communication lines and swift decision-making.
The production of the precast elements takes place in-house at Kolon, which added significant value to the course of the project. Thanks to regular feedback from the production facility and transparent communication, our team gained a clear understanding of the production approach and expectations. Any ambiguities could be quickly resolved, which significantly enhanced the quality and feasibility of the final result.
In addition, we were frequently kept informed of progress – something that, unfortunately, is not always standard in the industry, but in this case made a real difference in successfully managing and adjusting the design and drawings.
With Blauwpoorte – Block 7, Kreantis confirms its role as a technical partner in the development of large-scale prefab projects: efficient, precise, and collaborative at every stage of the process.
