Fulton Hogan Quarries Pty Ltd proposed to upgrade an existing fixed crushing and screening plant located at its Blue Rock Quarry, Cedar Creek, QLD. This is a brownfield development of an established existing hardrock quarry operation, located approximately 50km south of the Brisbane CBD.
The overarching objective of the project was to deliver a capacity upgrade to the existing fixed crushing and screening plant, to meet projected future demand for aggregates and roadbase products.
PROINDUSTRIAL worked closely with the contractor NASCORTEC and SOUTHERN CROSS ENGINEERING to perform the structural design of civil works and structural steelwork of this complex plant. All structural steel detailing, including connection design and drawings for production of steel structures were also executed by PROINDUSTRIAL.
Trimble software solutions were key to succeed on a project developed between Australia and Portugal, involving an intense team effort.
