Przedmiotem projektu jest konstrukcja wsporcza podnośnika, zlokalizowana w dokach miasta Portland w stanie Oregon. Projekt wyjątkowo trudny ze względu na nieforemną geometrię i potrzebę modelowania tymczasowych blach w węzłach mających na celu ułatwienie montażu. Wyzwaniem było również opisanie cięcia rur, stąd potrzeba wygenerowania template’ów w postaci rozwinięć rur.

This project is a chute backstay hoist structure located in the docks in Portland, Oregon. An especially tough job due to it’s geometry and additional plate fixtures meant to aid erection. For the purpose of pipe cutting, which proved a tough job for the fabricator, templates in the form of pipe unwraps were required.
