Het project
Unibouw heeft, in opdracht van onze zustermaatschappij VDG Real Estate, een state-of-the-art bedrijfspand, inclusief hoofdkantoor van 12.500 m², neergezet voor de HatchTech Group in Foodvalley Ede, het epicentrum van de agrifood-sector. Hierin zijn bijna alle mogelijke disciplines voorbij gekomen: prefab beton, staalconstructie, sheddak constructies, gelamineerde liggers, houten gevelbekleding, vliesgevels uitkragende balkons, etc. Trimble Connect en Tekla Structures hebben een belangrijke rol gespeeld in de werkvoorbereiding.

Natuurinclusief ontwerp
Het nieuwe hoofdkantoor van HatchTech is door de architect ontworpen vanuit de wensen en behoeften van de medewerkers en de omgeving. “Eén van de eerste stappen was het betrekken van onze collega’s. Hoe zien zij de toekomst voor HatchTech, en hoe zou de werkplek daaraan bij kunnen dragen? Dit heeft geleid tot een licht, speels en transparant ontwerp dat aan alle kanten verbinding, innovatie en interactie ademt. Daarnaast heeft de architect gezorgd voor een natuurinclusief ontwerp dat past in de omgeving en waarin veel oog is voor groen en duurzaamheid”, zei HatchTech-COO Ellen Poodt er over.

Het dak van het nieuwe kantoor is ruimhartig belegd met zonnepanelen van VDG Solar. Ook staat het gebouw in verbinding met de ecologie in de omgeving door bijvoorbeeld bijzondere aandacht voor de beplanting. Het nieuwe hoofdkantoor wordt niet alleen een werkplek, maar ook een ontmoetingsplek.

Unibouw

FUSE
Unibouw heeft duurzaamheid ook erg hoog in het vaandel staan, het creëren van een leefbare wereld van morgen.Wij geloven in een totaalaanpak met een integrale benadering waarbij de 5G’s centraal staan, Gebruiker, Gebouw, Gebied, Gemeente en Grond. Bij elke G kijken we of een stukje duurzaamheid, of het nu gaat om het welzijn van de medewerkers of betaalbare en duurzame energie de beoogde duurzaamheidsambitie, kunnen toevoegen aan de ontwikkeling.

BIM
Trimble Connect is voor Unibouw de werkmethodiek in de werkvoorbereiding. (Bijna) alle disciplines worden in BIM uitgewerkt en gecontroleerd in Trimble Connect. Voor dit project is zelfs gebruik gemaakt van de hybride mogelijkheid die Trimble biedt; een DWG-tekening van de vliesgevel tegen de staalconstructie geprojecteerd.

Trimble Connect en Tekla Structures
Trimble is voor Unibouw het communicatieprogramma voor het delen, controlewerk en aansturen van de onderaannemers in het voortraject. Afstemming tussen de partijen gebeurt dus volledig in Trimble Connect. Met name voor de grote disciplines: staalconstructie à fundering, installaties (E-W-S), etc. Ook is gebruikt gemaakt van Tekla Structures. Hier hebben vooral de onderaannemers in gewerkt. Voor dit project is de staalconstructie in Tekla uitgewerkt door VD Brink Staalbouw en de gelamineerde liggers door HEKO Spanten.

Maakbaarheid
In basis worden er door Unibouw bijna geen fysieke tekeningen meer goedgekeurd. Er worden modellen vrijgegeven voor productie; dat wil zeggen dat de Level of Detail conform voor buiten op de bouwplaats moet zijn. In de modellen worden alle boutjes, moertjes, verbindingen etc. uitgewerkt zoals deze buiten komen te zitten.

The project
Commissioned by our sister company VDG Real Estate, Unibouw built a state-of-the-art industrial building, including a 12,500 m² headquarters, for the HatchTech Group in Foodvalley Ede, the epicentre of the agrifood sector. Almost every possible discipline has been involved: precast concrete, steel construction, shed roof structures, laminated beams, wooden cladding, curtain walls, cantilever balconies, etc. Trimble Connect and Tekla Structures played an important role in work preparation.

Nature-inclusive design
HatchTech’s new head office was designed by the architect from the wishes and needs of the employees and the environment. “One of the first steps was to involve our colleagues. How do they see the future for HatchTech, and how could the workplace contribute to it? This led to a light, playful and transparent design that breathes connection, innovation and interaction on all sides. In addition, the architect has ensured a nature-inclusive design that fits in with the surroundings and pays great attention to greenery and sustainability,” HatchTech COO Ellen Poodt said.

The roof of the new office is generously lined with solar panels from VDG Solar. The building also connects with the ecology in the surrounding area through special attention to planting, for example. The new headquarters will not only be a workplace, but also a meeting place.

BIM
Trimble Connect is the working methodology for Unibouw in work preparation. (Almost) all disciplines are worked out in BIM and checked in Trimble Connect. This project even made use of the hybrid option offered by Trimble; a DWG drawing of the curtain wall projected against the steel structure.

Trimble Connect and Tekla Structures
Trimble is the communication programme for Unibouw for sharing, checking and directing subcontractors in the preliminary phase. Coordination between the parties is therefore done entirely in Trimble Connect. Especially for the major disciplines: steel construction à foundation, installations (E-W-S), etc. Tekla Structures was also used. This was mainly used by the subcontractors. For this project, the steel structure was worked out in Tekla by VD Brink Staalbouw and the laminated beams by HEKO Spanten.

Manufacturability
At base, almost no physical drawings are approved by Unibouw anymore. Models are released for production; that is, the Level of Detail must be conformable for outside on the building site. In the models, all bolts, nuts, connections, etc. are worked out as they will sit outside.
