Het project
De Harbour Cinema in de Houthavens in Amsterdam is een compact model met 12 zalen die in elkaar verweven zitten. De constructie bestaat uit circa 600 ton staal op een klein oppervlakte.
De gehele constructie bestaat uit vakwerkspanten welke in elkaar overlopen. Productietechnisch was dit project een grote uitdaging. Dit geldt ook voor de montage om de juiste onderdelen op tijd op locatie te krijgen i.v.m. de juiste bouwvolgorde. Bentstaal heeft hier de staalconstructie, kanaalplaatvloeren en de gevel gemonteerd.
BIM & Tekla Structures
Bentstaal is leidend geweest in dit project en alles is via onze IFC gecontroleerd. Het ontwerpprogramma Tekla is voor de hele constructie gebruikt om duidelijk te maken wat de impact is van de aansluitende details t.o.v. het uiteindelijke gebruik van het gebouw.
The project
The Harbour Cinema in the Houthavens in Amsterdam is a compact model with 12 theatres interwoven. The construction consists of around 600 tonnes of steel in a small area. The entire structure consists of lattice trusses that merge into each other.
Production-wise, this project was a major challenge. This also applies to the assembly to get the right components on site in time for the correct construction sequence. Here, Bentstaal assembled the steel structure, hollow-core slab floors and the facade.
BIM & Tekla Structures
Bentstaal was leading in this project and everything was checked via our IFC.
The Tekla design programme was used for the entire structure to clearly show the impact of the connecting details versus the final use of the building.
