NJB Trapp – prefabrykowane schody z charakterem
Ten projekt to świetny przykład na to, jak konstrukcyjna precyzja może iść w parze z architektoniczną wizją. Schody NJB Trapp to zestaw masywnych prefabrykatów betonowych, w których zintegrowano kilka nietypowych, ale bardzo efektownych rozwiązań – noski z czerwonego granitu, kanał wodny tworzący efekt „spływającej rzeczki” oraz donice na zieleń wbudowane w strukturę biegów i spoczników.

To obiekt infrastrukturalny, który pełni ważną funkcję komunikacyjną – łączy drogę osiedlową z portem położonym tuż przy zatoce. Dzięki temu nie tylko usprawnia codzienne przemieszczanie się mieszkańców, ale też podnosi jakość przestrzeni publicznej w miejscu o wyjątkowym krajobrazie.
Już na etapie koncepcji wiedzieliśmy, że będzie to projekt wymagający – nie tylko pod kątem transportu i montażu dużych elementów, ale też pod względem koordynacji różnych branż i detali. Tu nie dało się iść na skróty – każdy detal musiał być dokładnie przemyślany, a wiele rozwiązań powstawało w bezpośrednim dialogu z klientem i architektami. Taki tryb pracy pozwolił nam szybko reagować, dopasowywać konstrukcję do zmieniających się założeń i jednocześnie pilnować parametrów prefabrykacji.

Duży ciężar elementów i ich niestandardowa geometria wymagały precyzji już na poziomie teklowego modelu, jak i rysunków wykonawczych.
Finalnie powstał obiekt, który łączy funkcję użytkową z estetyką przestrzeni publicznej. Schody NJB Trapp, położone tuż nad zatoką, nie są wyłącznie ciągiem komunikacyjnym – to także punkt przyciągający uwagę, miejsce, które zaprasza do zatrzymania się, odpoczynku i obserwowania otoczenia.

To projekt, który pokazuje, że prefabrykacja nie musi być kompromisem – może być rozwiązaniem odważnym, z charakterem i wartością dodaną dla miasta i jego mieszkańców.

NJB Trapp – Prefabricated Stairs with Character
This project is a great example of how structural precision can go hand in hand with architectural vision. NJB Trapp is a set of massive prefabricated concrete elements, incorporating several unconventional yet highly effective features – red granite nosings, a water channel that creates the effect of a flowing stream, and integrated planters embedded into the structure of the flights and landings.

It is an infrastructure element that serves an important transportation function – linking a residential street with a harbor located just by the bay. As such, it not only improves everyday pedestrian flow but also enhances the quality of the public space in a uniquely scenic area.

From the conceptual stage, we knew this would be a demanding project – not only in terms of transporting and assembling large elements, but also in coordinating multiple disciplines and detailed solutions. There was no room for shortcuts – every detail had to be carefully designed, and many solutions were developed in close collaboration with the client and architects. This approach allowed us to react quickly, adapt the structure to changing requirements, and ensure compliance with the standards of prefabrication.

The heavy weight and non-standard geometry of the components required a high level of precision – both in the Tekla model and in the production drawings.

The result is a structure that combines usability with the aesthetics of public space. Located just above the bay, the NJB Trapp stairway is not just a means of circulation – it is also a visual and functional focal point, inviting people to pause, relax, and enjoy their surroundings.

This project proves that prefabrication doesn’t have to mean compromise – it can be bold, distinctive, and bring real added value to the city and its residents.
