Dit project betreft het afbreken en volledig heropbouwen van een nieuwe Peugeot-, Citroen- en DS -garage te Sint-Niklaas.
Met een gevel van 150m lengte waarbij veel glas en industrieel witte beton is toegepast zal dit gebouw een prominente plaats krijgen in het straatbeeld van Sint- Niklaas. Het volledig bouwoppervlak bedraagt 5570m² waarvan een groot gedeelte onderkelderd. Het gebouw voorziet in 3 showrooms, werkplaatsen, parking, sociale lokalen en kantoren.
De ruwbouw is een combinatie van beton, staal, hout en glas. De bouwknopen worden opgebouwd uit een combinatie van betonkolommen en -balken, houten dakspanten en hulpstaal. De centrale lift en traphallen werden uitgewerkt in prefab opstortwanden en trappen.
This project contains the demolition and complete reconstruction of a new Peugeot-, Citroën- and DS-garage in Sint-Niklaas.
With a façade of 150 meters in length using a lot of glass in combination with industrial white concrete columns and beams , this building will have a prominent place in the streets of Sint-Niklaas.
The total construction area is 5570m², a large part of which is basement. The building consists out of 3 showrooms, workshops, parking, social rooms and offices.
The structural work is a combination of concrete, steel, wood and glass. The construction nodes are constructed from a combination of concrete columns and beams, wooden roofbeams and secondary steel.
The central elevator and staircase are built with prefabricated walls and stairs.
