Projekt Top Shopping to przebudowa i rozbudowa istniejącego obiektu usługowo-handlowego. Obiekt znajduje się w Gdańsku przy ul. Grunwaldzkiej. Celem projektu było połączenie kompleksu budynków o różnych funkcjach w spójną całość architektoniczno-funkcjonalną, tworząc centrum handlowo-usługowe z wiodącą postacią galerii wnętrz. Pierwszym i najtrudniejszym zadaniem był podział etapów budowy, a następnie jego koordynacja i dobór takich rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych, które umożliwiły pracę budowy i wykonanie projektu podczas użytkowania obiektu – bez wyłączania go z funkcjonowania.

The Top Shopping project is the reconstruction and extension of the existing service and commercial facility. The subject of the study is located in Gdańsk, at Grunwaldzka street. The projects’ aim is to connect a complex of buildings with different functions into a coherent architectural and functional entity, creating a shopping and service center with the leading character of an interior gallery. The most difficult task initially was the division of the construction stages and subsequent its coordination and the selection of such design solutions, that enabled installation during the use of the facility – without excluding it from functioning.
