In opdracht van AB INBEV, heeft Edibo (https://www.edibo.be) in samenwerking met studiebureau IPS (https://www.group-ips.com) , het project Canal + In Hoegaarden mogen verwezenlijken.
Dit project omhelst de realisatie van een nieuwe blikkenlijn, warmroom, expeditie (+/- 16.000m²) en nieuwe buitenverharding (+/- 12.000m²).
De bedoeling van de architect was om in de buitengevels de typische vorm van een gevuld glas Hoegaarden met schuimkraag te creëren. Daarvoor werd gekozen voor gegolfde prefab betonpanelen met daarboven polycarbonaat.
Ten tweede was ook de planning een belangrijk punt. Daar de productie tijdens de gehele bouw gevrijwaard diende te blijven, is het project in fases gerealiseerd.

Edibo deed het design en de engineering in nauw contact met IPS via het gebruik van de door Edibo gerealiseerde BIM-modellen.
Tijdens dit project werden er o.a. stalen vakwerkspanten van 54 meter, prefab betonkolommen van 16 meter en prefab liftschachten van 20 ton gemonteerd.
De productielijn is in februari reeds geopend, in aanwezigheid van onze premier, Sophie Wilmès.
Dankzij een topteam is dit project prima verlopen en mogen we dit met trots afleveren.

In assignment of AB INBEV, Edibo (https://www.edibo.be), in collaboration with engineering firm IPS (https://www.group-ips.com), was able to realize the Canal + project in Hoegaarden.
This project involves the realization of a new can line, warm room, expedition (+/- 16.000m²) and new exterior pavement (+/- 12.000m²).
The architect’s intention was to create the typical shape of a filled Hoegaarden beer glass, including a foam head in the outer facades.
For this purpose, we used waved prefabricated concrete panels with polycarbonate on top.
Secondly, planning was also an important issue.
Since production had to stay safeguarded throughout the construction, we realized the project in different phases.
Edibo did the design & engineering in close contact with IPS, using the BIM models realized by Edibo.
During this project, we installed steel trusses of 54 meters, prefabricated concrete columns of 16 meters and prefabricated lift shafts of 20 tons.
The production line already opened in February, in the presence of our Prime Minister, Sophie Wilmès.
Thanks to a top team, this project went well and we can proudly deliver it.
