This project has been carried out for the minor ‚creatief construeren‘ in the fourth year at the ‚Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen‘. In half a year, a random fictional construction had to be designed. Everything has been done by a group of five students, from the art impression up to the calculating with RFEM and the modeling in Tekla. The Crescent is a semi-circular bridge between two mountains. The concrete deck consisting of 12 moths is suspended by guy-wireons a 200 meter high steel pylon. The bridge counts two lanes and spans a length of 75 meters. Ultimately, the Tekla model is used as the basis for a VR presentation in Unity.
