Thomastown Nursing Home to największy projekt z serii innowacyjnych domów opieki. Obiekt zlokalizowany jest w miejscowości Thomastown. Kompleks składa się z trzech dwupiętrowych bloków, zaprojektowanych z myślą o zapewnieniu pensjonariuszom 95 wygodnych miejsc otoczonych zielenią i przestrzenią do relaksu na świeżym powietrzu.
Nasz zespół projektowy miał za zadanie opracować skomplikowany model obliczeniowy oraz cyfrowy dla całego obiektu. Projekt ten, tak jak poprzednie projekyt domów opieki realizowany był na poziomie BIM Level 3. Doświadczenie zdobyte na poprzednich projektach pozwoliło nam na skuteczne koordynowanie prac projektowych zaangażowanych podmiotów.
Konstrukcja nośna budynku składała się z pełnych ścian prefabrykowanych o grubości 200mm, sprężonych płyt kanałowych o grubości 300/250/200mm, nadbetonu o grubości 100mm oraz w nielicznych miejscach z płych sprężonych o różnej grubości i różnej wysokości nadbetonu. Wyzwaniem konstrukycjnym była koordynacja oraz przystosowanie elementów prefabrykowanych do stropów o zróżnicowanej grubości. W projekcie tym byliśmy również w pełni odpowiedzialni za zaprojektowanie oraz skoordynowanie elementów stalowych podpierających elementy prefabrykowane. Ponadto, tak jak w przypadku poprzednich inwestycji, zaawansowane instalacje elektryczne, sanitarne oraz medyczne generowały olbrzymią liczbę otworów wykonanych zarówno przed, jak i po montażu elementów prefabrykowanych.
Wspomniane trudności zostały dodatkowo spotęgowane złożonością ścian, wbudowaną w elementy prefabrykowane instalacją elektryczną, oraz wysokimi standardami jakości wymaganymi przez klienta. Przeznaczenie obiektu wymuszało stosowanie skomplikowanych rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych oraz utrzymywanie wysokiego poziomu precyzji wykoniania elementów prefabrykowanych.
Podczas montażu elementów, zespół musiał poradzić sobie z wieloma wyzwaniami związanymi z gabarytami ścian, nietypowymi połączeniami i ogromną dokładnością. Pomimo tych wyzwań, nasz zespół sprostał zadaniu, z powodzeniem kończąc kolejny z serii projekt domu opieki.
Thomastown Nursing Home is the largest project in the series of innovative nursing homes. The facility is located in Thomastown. The complex consists of three two-story blocks designed to provide 95 comfortable places for residents, surrounded by greenery and outdoor relaxation space.
Our project team was tasked with developing a complex structural and digital model for the entire facility. This project, like the previous nursing home projects, was carried out at BIM Level 3. The experience gained from previous projects allowed us to effectively coordinate the project work of all involved parties.
The building’s load-bearing structure consisted of full prefabricated walls with a thickness of 200mm, prestressed hollowcores with a thickness of 300/250/200mm, 100mm thick screed, and in a few places, shallow prestressed elements of varying thickness and varying screeds. The structural challenge was to coordinate and adapt prefabricated elements to slabs of varying thickness. In this project, we were also fully responsible for designing and coordinating the steel elements supporting the prefabricated components. Furthermore, as in the case of previous investments, advanced electrical, mechanical, and medical installations required a significant number of openings, both before and after the installation of prefabricated elements.
These mentioned difficulties were further compounded by the complexity of the walls with embedded electrical installations in prefabricated elements and the high-quality standards required by the client. The purpose of the facility necessitated the use of complex structural solutions and maintaining a high level of precision in the execution of prefabricated elements.
During the installation of elements, the team had to overcome many challenges related to the dimensions of the walls, non-standard connections, and a high level of precision. Despite these challenges, our team successfully completed another project in the series of nursing home projects.
